About Jacob C. DeVilliers, Esq.

Hailing from South Africa, Jacob De Villiers graduated in 1989 with a B.Juris degree in law from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa, where he also went on to earn a post graduate Legum Baccalaureus (LL-B) degree in law. After obtaining his B.Juris and LL.B degrees, Jacob next obtained a Higher Diploma in Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Before permanently relocating to the United States in 1999, Jacob ran his own law firm in Pretoria, South Africa.

Jacob was admitted to the California Bar in 2002. Prior to joining the The Estate Lawyers’ team in 2024, he was the Senior Managing Attorney at Bradley R. Kirk & Associates, Inc. where he started his journey as a California lawyer in 2001. Bradley R. Kirk & Associates, Inc. merged with The Estate Lawyers on January 1, 2024.

Jacob brings extensive expertise in Probate and Trust Administration and pre-litigation matters with a focus on resolutions to minimize litigation.
